The Gibraltar Business Network was set up in the early 1990s to promote the advancement of business and professional women and, in particular, to
- enable women to network and exchange information.

- represent the interests and concerns of it members.

The Network is a non-political grouping with a diverse membership including women from many fields and walks of business and professional life – lawyers, civil servants, teachers, small business women and managers in larger firms. The members span a wide range of age ranges and reflect Gibraltar's diverse society.
The Gibraltar Business Network works to bring together its members and to introduce them to a range of ideas and opportunities – both in relation to their business and professional life and more generally. The Network, while focused on Gibraltar, maintains good links and works with business and professional women outside Gibraltar especially in neighboring Morocco and Spain.
